Checklists....MAKE DAMN SURE!

The opening line above for this post says it all - back in my day before I went AD, these were all over the local Air Force base.  And with good reason.  When you're getting ready for 'anything' that might happen, you check everything.  Twice.  Sometimes, three times.  You rehearse your immediate actions.  Again....and again....and again.

There's probably 7 to 10 calendar days...possibly a couple weeks at the outside, to the Chauvin trial verdict.  Could be this week - who knows?  

If the jury goes by the evidence, Chauvin may just be acquitted.  If the jury is charlie sierra (chicken shit), it might be a hung jury.  If the jury goes full SJW, he'll be convicted.  In any event, it would do everyone a solid to make sure they're prepared for some really bad things no matter what happens.

Remember what BLM has said about the verdict, no matter what it is....

“We will riot if Chauvin is acquitted,” said one spokesperson for the movement gathered outside the courthouse in Minneapolis. “And also, you know, if he’s convicted. Yep, we’ll still be rioting then. In fact, we’ll be rioting no matter what happens, so buckle up, America. You thought last summer was bad? Get ready for peace.”

Prep checks.  Weapons checks.  Kit checks.  Area study checks.  Casual recon checks.  Eyes and Ears open; head on a swivel.

Beware of the Seductress...

PSA - Instant Incapacitation of an Attacker...

  First, I forget where I got this graphic; it's been a long while.  It's good though, for this post's purposes.  For the uninitiated, or new prepper, protector, defender, NPT member, etc (whatever your group calls the new guys), 'CNS' stands for 'Central Nervous System'. There are three ways to achieve instant incapacitation with a firearm against an attacker:  Shoot them in one of the 3 places as outlined above.
